I’ve always been drawn to the little moments that happen around us every day.

For me, photography is about being present and paying attention. I love walking through a city without necessarily having a plan, looking at the people, the light, the colours and all the little details that can easily go unnoticed.

I’m particularly drawn to moments that feel natural and unplanned a funny expression, an interesting character, beautiful light falling on a street, or just a scene that makes me stop for a second.

I don’t really look for perfection in my photographs. I’m much more interested in character, atmosphere and the feeling of a moment.

Most of the time, I simply walk, look, wait and see what happens. Sometimes I get the photograph I had in mind, and most of the time I find something completely different. I think that’s what I enjoy most about street photography you never quite know what the next corner will bring.
